Grand Tetons/Yellowstone trip:Itinerary help

We are traveling in a group of 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 9, 11 and 14) to GT and YNPs. Here is a general look at our itinerary. All our reservations for the places to stay have been made. Please let us know if there is something major that we have overlooked in this itinerary.

Day 1: Fly to Salt Lake City and drive to GTs. We are staying at a rental home in Tetons Village

Day 2: hikes in GTs, Jenny Lake trip to Inspiration point, evening float trip down Snake river. Night at rental home in Tetons Village

Day 3: hikes in GTs, drive over to YNP. Spend night in cabin on Lake Yellowstone.

Day 4: Spend day in the Old Faithful area. Return for the night to the cabin on Lake Yellowstone

Day 5: Morning in Hayden Valley (including ranger led hike - Wildlife Watching in Hayden Valley). Afternoon exploring the area around Lake Yellowstone (including ranger led Lake Scenic Cruise). Drive to Canyon in the evening and spend the night there.

Day 6: Grand Canyon of Yellowstone in the day and trip to Lamar Valley in the evening. Spend night in Canyon.

Day 7 : Drive to Mammoth Hot Springs. Hike and spend the day on this trip. Spend the night in Mammoth Hot Springs.

Day 8: Spend day at Mammoth and Norris. Spend the night in Mammoth Hot Springs.

Day 9: Drive back to SLC and fly out from there.

Would love any input on this itinerary as well as any input on must-see sights and must-do hikes within this itinerary. We are good with 3-5 miles of hiking daily. Also any input on places to eat for vegetarian food would be appreciated. Thanks!

As a general plan, it seems fine.

You don't have full days planned and that's probably good. Our general rule of thumb is wildlife in the early AM and other sights later. Maybe 10AM to 11AM we're off to geysers and other sights.

Here's a link to some sample itineraries we put together. They're set up based on the locations with accommodations. No need to follow them but they might give you some ideas.

I forgot. Here's some pictures of the Beaver Ponds Loop Trail at Mammoth. The kids wouldn't have any trouble with it.

Mt. Washburn is supposed to be very good but we didn't hike it.
