Disneyland does get very busy around easter / spring break , that is when most schools are off, but that shouldn't put you off visiting , with a bit of pre planning ( going to the block buster rides first early ) , using fast passes , getting to the parks early when they open , you can have a great time , without having to spend all your time standing in queues .

We have visited the parks over the easter break the past 2 years and have had a great time .

Also remember Aussie's can get a 10 day pass to spread out the magic time you have in the parks and that includes a magic morning ( an extra hour before the park opens to regular pass holders )

Through most of April Disneyland will be very busy with extended hours daily as they are expecting larger crowds.

For 2013, the first week of April 1-7 will have some Secondary and Elementary schools in the U.S. taking off that week for thier Spring Break. ( Most of those will take the Full week before Easter Sunday)

Most of March and April are busy with Spring Break crowds from various Colleges around the U.S. as well as its a popular time for School Competitions in the area as well as Conventions.

The last week of April usually has the lower crowds for the Month and hours will begin to go back to off season hours.
