Getting in early at DCG

We will be arriving early, like at 10 AM in Anaheim, and will be staying a the Grand Californian. Does anyone know if they will keep our luggage so we can spend the afternoon and morning in Disneyland before our room would be ready? Thank you in advance

Yes, area Hotels will store you luggage for you so you can visit Disneyland before your room may be ready including the Grand Californian Hotel as far as Im aware.

Sure, you can drop your car with the valet, leave your bags with the Bell Desk and get your park tickets from the front desk if you don't have them already.

Hi, we are going to D/Land next March and we arrive from Australia at 6am on Friday morning. Can our bags be left at Embassy Suites Sth as we cannot get into our room until 3pm. Also what time does D/L open week days and would we have to be there before the opening time or could we go at say midday.

taylah 10,

Most Hotels in the are will hold your luggage for you whenever you arrive until your room is ready. I have not heard of any in the area that will not do that. But I would still contact your Hotel to make sure.

It really depends on when in March you may be talking about. But in General weekend hours starting on Fridays are 8am or 9am. The first few hours after opening time are the least busy at Disneyland. Things get progressively busier as the day goes by, and usually by around late afternoon, some of the locals come in to the park making it busier.

Keep in mind also that most of March is a busy time at Disneyland as there are various College Spring Breaks all throughout the month, and its a popular time for Conventions as well as School Competitions in the area which make it busy at Disneyland. Really the first week in March is the best time to visit in that month usually. Even this far out, they are already showing a few larger Dance Competitons near Disneyland March 24th-March 30th for 2013.

The last three times we've stayed at the Grand Californian we were able to have the Bell Staff hold our luggage when we arrive early. They will call or text you when your room is ready, and you can have them bring up your luggage. Also, we've ordered groceries to be delivered to the Hotel and they will hold them for us until our room was ready (including perishables).
