Anyone done Ariel's Grotto, World of Color - your thoughts

Hi - we are considering doing Ariel's Grotto for dinner to get preferred seating for WOC. Has anyone who's done this able to give me some advice on whether you thought it was worth it? Did you still have to get there early for a good spot?

Thanks

Keep in mind in case you were not aware that there is NO seating for the Wold of Color show, its standing room only for everyone. Fastpasses for the show are included with a dining package that allows you into a better area usually for viewing. People getting one of the dining options will still have to arrive early to get the best view within thier viewing area.

Last Tuesday, we wandered over for the 9:00pm World of Color show at about 8:40pm (8:20pm would have been safer). We had no special pass, just the fastpass that we picked up that morning. We found a spot near the front of one of the higher tiers near the back. We saw the show just fine.

If you don't want to wait 1 hour plus, it's better to get a front position in a rear, higher tier than a back position in front, lower tier. They also said you get somewhat wet in the front. Even in the back there were brief periods of moderate mist, which was enough for my wife as the cooler night air approached.

We did it recently, the place to get to see the show was good, we were front row center, but we really thought the food at ariels grotto was pretty bad,
