The best place is at the fishing village in Cortez which is only a few miles over the bride, I think it's called Star Fish, great fresh seafood.

You would have to get a cab to get over to Cortez. I dont think that the trolley goes over the bridge, I could be wrong. Where are you staying? They should be able to tell you. There is a Publix Grocery Store that is on the island that the trolley goes by they have freash seafood but not like what you would get at the dock.

I think you will be pleased with Coconuts, I havent stayed there but I have family from Texas that stay there every year for three weeks and they love it! Great pool and right on the beach. As far as cabs, I havent ever had a problem getting a cab, there should be a directory in your room that will give you a number. I would say that you will pay around 15.00 or more, Coconuts is on the north end of Anna Maria Island and it will probably take a good 15 minutes to get there. Again, Publix is also a choice and the trolley would take you there.
