9 day honeymoon. Two locations. Feasible?

Heading to Belize in November for a honeymoon and was thinking of staying in Hopkins for 4 days to do mainland stuff(zip, caves, etc.) and then packing up and heading to Placencia or perhaps another place for beach relaxing. We usually use VRBO for accomodations. Would that be preferred, or is it just as easy to find good accomodations in places( for about 120-150/night)?

For Mainland "stuff" you might consider staying in San Ignacio or around there. Hopkins is a sweet little town but it's not that close to zip lines and all that.

I've pasted my favorite Belize links below. I think I'd start with Cayo District and then head to the beach. This summer I'm exploring Toledo District for the 1st time and that might be worth a look, too. Congratulations and happy planning!

Cayo first for many of the terrestrial excursions, like zip lining, hiking ruins, waterfalls, rivers, and ruins. Then Hopkins or Placencia. With 9 days, you could do all 3, and not miss a beat since they are pretty close to each other.
