Cayo, Hopkins or Placencia, and one of the cayes, like AC or Caulker. You won't really need a car, plus, they are quite expensive.

If you want Beach, Nature Reserves, Caves, Waterfalls and Mayan Ruins = Split time between Hopkins and San Ignacio. Xunantunich and Cahal Pech are around San Ignacio Town.

If you Snorkel and want Parties, Karaoke and good drinks, it's San Pedro or Caye Caulker.

If you want seclusion and romantic walks on the beach, it's Placencia, Punta Negra or the smaller cayes.

Orange Walk and Toledo are not as popular but there is ALOT to see in those districts as well. These include Lamanai, Honey Camp Lagoon, the Sapodilla Cayes, San Antonio Falls, Rio Blanco Falls, and Lubaantun
