I've done a lot of reading on tripadvisor forums but this is my first post.
We are planning a trip to Belize in July - a 2 week trip divided between Placencia, San Ignacio, and one other place (undecided as yet). I just noticed a random mention of spray trucks in Hopkins in a forum post- spaying for mosquitos I assume. I know this is something that is done in several coastal towns of the southern east coast in the USA. Wondering how common this is in Belize - specifically, do the following places use spray trucks and, if so, how frequently: Placencia, San Ignacio, Hopkins, Caye Caulker, Ambergris Caye, Punta Gorda.
We are chemically sensitive and I was surprised and concerned to see mention of spray trucks. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
