Tours from Sleeping Giant & almond beach

What kind of kind tours could we arrange to see wildlife like birds and the monkeys? Should we go thru the resort or look for other guides or tour operators? We need to know if charge cards are ok to pay for the tours.. We prefer not to carry much cash.

Charlton Castillo is a licensed tour operator who does land tours, including bird watching. You can see monkeys at Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve. Either go with a licensed tour operator who arranges land tours, such as Charlton, Hamanasi Resort or Funky Dodo Backpacker Hostel or arrange transportation only and hire one of the Mayan tour guides at the reserve. If you tell your tour guide that you specifically want to see monkeys there is a good chance he will know where to find them. You can also ask your accommodations provider to arrange a tour for you. They will only deal with a licensed tour operator and will want to steer you in the right direction and keep your stay enjoyable. Many of the local tour operators do not take charge card, but there is an ATM in Hopkins.

Hello, first thank you for the reply! Is the Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve far from the Sleeping Giant resort?

We would really be into seeing the wildlife, especially the birds of Belize.. Any guesses on how much the tours would cost with a licensed operator? We would like to know in advance how much we would need to bring?

I appreciate your or anyone's help.

Cockscomb is close to Almond Beach, not Sleeping Giant. Don't have any tour prices in front of me,
