Belize Jungle

Wanted to stay at Caves Branch Lodge for a few days but they are booked. Any other suggestions for the jungle. We are a party of 10, 2 families. Then planning to stay at the beach would you stay on Ambergris Caye, Hopkins or Placencia? Going the week before Easter

Thanks for any help you can give us.

We have friends that have been to that hotel and loved it, it also looked like one of the best in the area? We want to see the maya ruins, caving, tubing, zip lines, bird watching, ect….

That's a busy time. Here's a link to Chaa Creek's jungly cousin, Macal River Camp - we loved it:

If your goal is to put your 10 person, 2 family group in two neighboring, multi bedroom houses, in a jungle lodge with some fun activities right on-site, then Calico Jack's Village might suit you. On their 400 acre jungle property, they've got one 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom villa and one 2 bedroom /2 bathroom villa with sofabed in sitting room. All beds are queen beds. The 2 villas are right next to each other.

Calico Jack's is best known for the ziplining on-site on their property. They've only had these 2 accomodations open since 2010- -- are in process of completing another villa and some cabanas that should open this year.

This isn't intended as a recommendation, since, while i've chosen it for my own 12 person family group, I haven't been there yet! Just pointing it out as something you might want to investigate.

Check out Chaa Creek and Calico Jack's. Maybe Table Rock too.
