Pit stops between Arenal & Manuel Antonio?

We're leaving for our Honeymoon on Saturday! Yeah!!!

Trying to plan out some of our drives, one including the 5 hours between Arenal & MA. Any reccomended pit stops, photo ops, local attractions?

You can have lunch in San Ramon, do a stop in Carara National park, crocodile bridge, visit jaco. This very much the only places easy to visit on the way from arenal. NATUREGUIDE

Lunch at Tierras Enamoradas 20 min N of San Ramon -- excellent Israeli run resort hotel with cardamom coffee and vegetarian food. Just down the road on your right you'll see a good sized parking area -- pull off for a walk in the river by the waterfalls. Stop at any of several roadside stands for fresh mozzarella cheese, homemade gelatin candies, and candied peanuts. In San Ramon, stop and walk into the church - they're always cool and peaceful. Nice photo op vistas from the Colina del Muerte (Hill of Death - steep and windy, the trucks make people impatient) between SR and Puntarenas.

As already mentioned, the crocodile (cocodrilo in spanish) bridge - so called because of the crocs in the river below - is worth a stop. Many scenic views so take your time, drive safely, and stop often for photos.
