Flying Sansa Air

I need to book a short flight from Quepos to San Jose to make my flight back home in the afternoon from SJ. Nature air does not offer an early morning flights, but Sansa Air does. Is this airline reliable and safe??

Just took this flight for the same reason this past Sunday. Flight is very safe and reliable.

Note: We took the earliest flight and our flight back to the US was boarding at 1:10 and we waited around for like 4 hours in the San Jose Airport. Just might not need to take the earlist flight. However, if you want to be same take the earlist flight.

Yes, it is definitely safe and generally reliable. We have flown Sansa many times and they were on schedule...only once did we encounter a problem with time, and we learned our lesson. DO NOT book an international flight too close to it...by that I mean a two or even two and a half hour window. Leave three or four hours if you want to be safe. Sansa sometimes can be very late...usually weather related concerns...so give yourself plenty of time. They have recently upgraded their planes...more modern, computers in the cockpit, etc. and their whole operation runs very smoothly. But in Costa Rica, things can go wrong at times...just be smart about the timing and you'll be fine.
