How to send text from US to Costa Rica

Help... does anyone know how to send a txt to someone in Costa Rica. I have T-Mobile here in the US and when txt a TICA she does not get my text. I know my phone switches to ICE when down there and can make calls.

The complexities of Costa Rica and cell phones still gets me.

Does anyone know of a website where you can type in your SMS message and it is txt to the person in Costa Rica??

Thanks,

Never tried it myself, but it's the only one I've found that has Costa Rica on it's list of coverage.

Your friend needs to go to el ICE and make sure her phone is set up for international. T-mobile is the only US provider that can send messages to CR so you should be good with that. I have done it, but the person had to go to el ICE and have some international service turned on. I have some friends that can receive international TXTs and some that can not. Also TDMA phones will not accept international txts only GSM phones (the ones with chips). Hope that helps.
