Pacific water temps in March?

I'm going to be in CR in early-mid March around Playa Conchal. How do the ocean temps run there at that time of year? Thank you!

The Pacific Ocean temperature on our coast near Conchal, is alwasy very pleasant, usually around 80-82 near shore. March is also the late middle part of the high season, and the sun has had months to warm the water daily.

if you go snorkeling or diving some distance from shore, it could be colder, but I don't think I have ever seen anyone in a wet suit in high season for reasons of temperature.

Have a great time.

I get cold really easily, so was thinking about wearing a a diving "skin" for warmth...does that sound nuts?

I really don't think you'll need it. Actually, you'll probably welcome any feeling that comes close to 'cool' as it gets pretty hot in March on the Pacific. Why not bring it just in case? Have fun!
