Need a favor from a tico or traveler

Sorry, this is only remotely related to traveling, but I don't really know where else to ask.

My wife and I were married in Costa Rica (Punta Uva) last year and we were interested in ordering/importing several bottles (~3) of Cacique Guaro for sentimental reasons. We live in the US.

I would obviously pay for the bottles, the shipping, and a reasonable fee for your time. From what I've found out, the only customs issues with that small of a number of bottles would be a fee I would pay upon receipt, so it's nothing you'd have to worry about.

If you can help out in any way, I would certainly appreciate it.

Have you gone to Cacique's website? It says you can "buy online"-check it out: http://guaroliquor.com/home/index.php

Have you tried the online stores that offer this service and ship to the US?. I know of http://www.ticoshopping.com/ and http://www.lacarretica.com. Browse their websites and see if they offer Guaro. there is tons of stuff you can buy from them like Salsa Lizano, beer, coffee....

Please go thru the approriate business channels. There are many websites that can help you with out getting an individual and a stranger involved.

I see questions similiar to this on TA often. People need to watch Locked Up Abroad more. MANY of these real stories start out with someone asking someone to carry stuff for them internationally.

zerOvector I am not accusing you of anything, but it is for your safety and well being too.
