Eco Tamales in Arenal

Is this place worth a visit? Seems kind of expensive for hot springs and dinner.

In my opinion it is one of the best in La Fortuna. They limit the amount of guests. You must make reservations to get in. It is a bit hard to find, it is right across the street from Baldi.

$50 for hot springs and a tasty dinner is a good deal. Eco Termales is well worth it.

There are many places to choose from in this area but EcoTermales is one of the best. There are 4 pools surrounded by dense rainforest and as another person mentioned, they limit the # of guests that are there which helps keep a relaxed environment. You do have the option of using the hot springs and not having dinner but all reviews say the food is very good there and if you'd pay that much per person if you went elsewhere so I'd go for it! Hope this helps!

Which hot spring has a pool that is not too hot and that you can stay in for a long time?

We were in Arenal a couple of days ago and decided to visit Los Perdidos Hot Springs at TheSprings Resort. You can get an all day pass for $42.75 including dinner from www.arenal.net. It is beautiful, has numerous springs and pools of varying temperature, and the dinner was a sitdown dinner overlooking their beautiful grounds. I had the coconut encrusted tilapia-yummy! I was quite impressed. They have lockers and towels, showers and changing rooms-very nice place.
