Renting a car

We have British driving licences. Are they ok to rent a car in Costa Rica or do we require an international driving license?

You can drive for 3 months with your British license - as long as you can legally remain in the country. Like all other important documents, bring copies of your license that you keep away from the original.

Thanks for your replies. Glad not to have to bother with an international licence.
