Clothing * Last minute Packing *

Should we bring a light hoodie?? Or should we bring a light long sleeved shirt?? coming July 13-27

Is just a breathable rain jacket enough?? Could it get cold at night time?

Thanks

It won't be cold at night as long as you are not in the high mountains. A breathable, very lightweight rain jacket or long sleeve shirt will be fine. Don't need a hoodie. At the beach, it will be warm at night.

I was in CR during those same dates a couple of summers ago and in 15 days I wore the light hoodie once (in a freezing-cold Miami airport) and a light rain shell once (in the evening at Arenal when watching an eruption). I'd recommended just taking a very light weight rain jacket or shell because even during the occasional downpours, it's very, very warm.
