Service provider for a family trip to Guatemala

We are planing a family trip to Guatemala on October 2014.

I am looking for recommendation for a very good and reliable service provider that can help us to plan and execute that plan.

Thanks

I much prefer to plan my own trips so haven't used them to pull everything together or even book accommodation, but here are 2 transportation providers I’ve been pleased with in Guatemala for share shuttles, private transfers, and flight arrangements (they do whole trips, too):

Adrenalina Tours: http://www.adrenalinatours.com

Rainbow Travel: http://www.rainbowtravelcenter.com

How many people, ages, how many nights, general budget per night, can you afford internal flights, and just highlights or specfic interests? We can help you plan your own!

The family planning specialist is Nancy Hoffman of Guatemala Reservations. guatemalareservations.com/ or on www.facebook.com/GuatemalaFamilyTravel. She has years of experience helping families plan a fun and comfortable trip for all ages. Enjoy, and I hope to see you at Lake Atitlan.

Thanks for the info.

We will be 5 : 2 adults and 3 kids (15, 12, 8)

We are planing a trip during October 2014 for 12 days.

We are planing a guided tour with private transportation includes internal flights as needed.

We consider to combine few (2-3) days in Beliz (resort on the beach).

Any thoughts about that?

You could split a week between Antigua and Lake Atitlán and the last 5 days between Tikal and Caye Caulker or Ambergris Caye. My best advice:

1) Don't try to race around and see too much

2) Pack really light: www.onebag.com

3) Hire Roxy Ortixz for your Tikal tours: www.tikalroxy.blogspot.com

Happy trails!

Nancy is an excellent source. She was one of the first expats to help travelers on the Thorn Tree back in the days when it was legitimate.
