Kiteboarding / kite surfing in Guatemala?

Hi,

I'll be heading to Guatemala in a week (this August) with my boyfriend and we are looking for an opportunity to learn how to kiteboard. Are there any spots where this is possible? If so, are there any instructors / schools you can recommend?

Thanks in advanced!

I am the water sports expert, and there are no opportunities for kiteboarding in our area. Maybe someone will start this business soon as the conditions are great.

Lago Izabal or El Golfete would be good venues but no schools/instructors there either.

We watched a kite boarder when we were crossing between Santiago Atitlán and San Pedro in early April - a little taste of home since we live in the Columbia River Gorge. Can't help with contact info - maybe they were from the place listed above.
