Heated pool for laps?

Hola. We'll be staying at Lake Atitlan for a week. Can anyone recommend lodging with a heated pool big enough for lap swimming, please? It's for 2 of us.

Gracia!

Here's a list of Panajachel hotels with pools: tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g292008-zfa3-Panajach… There's also Club Ven Aca in Jaibalito and the Deep End in San Pedro. http://www.clubvenaca.com/ and http://lapiscinasanpedro.com/. I don't know if any of them are large enough to swim laps or if any of them are heated, but you could e-mail them and ask.

Thanks for your response, DC Chapin,

(I'm a Bethesda-ite; went to Holton-Arms long ago.)

Tripadvisor doesn't specify whether pools are heated.

Gracias.

Hi there - to be honest not sure any of the pools around the lake are heated or big enough!! However, it is not that cold here, especially at this time of year, no pool is really colder than 70/20 degrees! The only large ones that I know of are the Porta del Lago hotel, not heated, and the 5 star, Atitlan on the Riviera! all the other hotel pools are really dip pools for cooling off and sunbathing next to!

Of course, there is always the length and breadth of the lake itself! When I lived in Sta Cruz I would swim frequently for an hour following the shore line! Just be sure to keep close to the shore to avoid the boats! So that is another option!!
