I keep reading about construction at the Princeville. I have no idea if Sealodge is anywhere near it but should I be concened about construction in the area next June?

Aloha from Kaua'i!

Sealodge is in the same general area as the Princeville Hotel - but the renovation of the property shouldn't impact anything else but their property -- Sealodge won't be affected to my best knowledge.

The Sealodge is not near or on the same road as the Princeville Resort..in fact it is as far back on a different road as you can get (name escapes me now)--and the turn off for this road is way before the Princeville. You are east of PR set high on bluff overlooking the ocean---you will have no worries.

Aloha from Kaua'i!

I think a lot of people get confused by the "Princeville" designation -- there is a whole planned community by the name of Princeville -- tons of condos, vacation rentals, and the Princeville Hotel are located here.

However the only property that will be affected by the renovations at the Princeville Hotel -- is the Princeville Hotel -- nothing else in Princeville -- if that makes any sense!

Yep, no worries, and there are some beautiful views from the Sea Lodge.

Must let you know, your screen name would make a really great name for a boat ! We like it !

Denny & Erica: I think it would be great to have a boat named after me! I live on the central coast of California on a hill overlooking the Pacific so the name fits me...my e-mail is khby the sea....guess I am a one themed kind of gal !

Thanks for the reply.

I've read great reviews of Sea Lodge. I think you will be happy there.

I'll be in Kauai in June and Sea Lodge was one of the places I checked out (before our group got too big and we had to rent a house).

By the way, I think "Sea Lodge' would be a good name for a boat, too.

Have fun!
