Hanalei Bay Resort childcare?

When doing a google search I noticed that HBR offered childcare services;

www.hoteltravel.com/usa/kauai/hanalei_bay.htm

but looking further into it I could not find anymore info.

Is this true and has anyone ever used the service?

I was under the impression its baby sitters or nothing for parents that want to do Na Pali cruises etc.

They do not have this service.

We are a bit scared of the babysitting thing.

Sorry, but the alternative is to drag the kiddos with you.

Maybe someone has a sitter they have used and trusted and can help you.

When we had Sunday Brunch at the Westin in March I noticed they had a kids program. A few kids were in one area and the cliff side pools were empty. I would think the sitters would be bonded. May be worth checking out.

I don't know the age of your child but our kids always made good friends when they were very young and we got to know the parents very well and would give each an early night out. And yes we have all been sending Christmas cards for over 20 years!

Good luck!

We've used Happy Kids of Kauai on several occasions. Not only for my two boys but also for friends of mine who have traveled over to Kauai with us. Very professional folks and they were terrific!

I told them that my oldest son prefers young, energetic girls in their early 20s and they sent the perfect gal over. She was about 22 and from Australia. The family traveling with us at the time happened to be from OZ too. She was perfect and the parents had a great time with no worries!
