Travelzoo sometimes has really good deals - this seems to be one:
Expedia too! And this is for "pool view" :)
You typically see some good deals for Hawaii from mid April to mid May. Its a slow period post Easter break and pre summer vacation. Its a good time to go to Hawaii.
I saw the exact same rate (and booked it) on the Marriott website over the wkend.
Sunny, I don't see it on their website. How did you find it?
This rate is even good in July. I thought briefly of staying at the Marriott for our last night so I checked their rates and saw this deal.
If you enter your dates and it doesn't give this rate there is a tab at the top of the reservation page that you can click and the rate will should come up.
for my date (in May), it's listed under Standard Rates (not the 2nd tab for Room Packages). It's called "Limited Time Offer"
Dates 3/19/12 – 9/30/12
blackout 3/25-3/29, 4/3-4/5, 4/15-4/17
Subject to availability
fully cancellable until 3 days prior to travel w/ no penalties.
We are going on DH's company sponsored trip to Marriott for a few nights. Extended the rez by 1 day using the $215 rate (cheaper than rate negotiated for extended stays by DH's company). And we are staying at Hyatt for 4 nights using points for 3 and 1 paid night :-)
oh and yes, it's for the pool view. For ocean view, it's $265 using the same "Limited Time Offer"
It's actually good through September. Random question - does the Marriott offer connecting rooms if a family wanted more space?
I'm confused having only seen the resort from walking by and from Duke's but isn't the pool on the ocean side? Wouldn't it be hard to have a pool view and not see part of the ocean?
