Looking for accomodation in May

Oops posted this first on Hawaii forum. Just wondering if anyone can help my husband and I with accomodation for May. I would like to stay on the north shore and would love Bali Hai views. I've looked at Hanalei Bay resort but most condos are already booked. Is there any other condos or hotels I should be looking at ? Budget is around 250 - 300 night but can be flexible on that. Thanks in advance. I look forward to any recommendations.

I own at HBR and know the good rentals, so give me your dates and I can find you something. May is busy at the resort because its the owner's meetings (and a perfect time to be on the North Shore) and many of us like to go at the time. Do you need a one or two bedroom?

Other condos that are the same scale as HBR are Puu Poa and a few at Pali Ke Kua. Only a few condos at Puu Poa have Bali Hai views but that would be my second choice if you pick the correct unit.

Hello jebett thanks for the reply. I would like a one bedroom if possible. Our dates are 20th - 25th May. I have looked at many of your suggestions for condos and all the ones I like have been booked. Now im just going into overload looking at them. We are from australia and prob will only ever be able to visit once and was hoping for that gorgeous view. I would be grateful for any suggestions.. I dont know much about the north shore except that it looks amazing ! We are flexible with where we stay as we will have a car. I thought it would be better to stay in one place for the whole time rather than a few days there and a couple south shore to visit areas there.

Are you set on only condos and hotels or would you be open to a cottage/house rental? There are a number of really nice cottages on the north shore in your price range, but very few would have a pool if that is of concern.

The North Shore IS amazing.... Thanks for coming to visit.

Have you looked at Hanalei Colony Resort? http://www.hcr.com/ The view are amazing although not of Bali Hai. You're just feet from the ocean, and Mediterranean Gourmet Restaurant, one of my favorites, is on the property. You can get an Ocean View, where we've stayed, for $369 or an Ocean Front for $411.
