I read that article. I thought May was supposed to be cheap too. But didn't see May mentioned in the article.
shhhhh...I want to go on Aug 25...now everyone knows and the fares will skyrocket, lol!
You know, I just don't buy it. And who made "The Beat of Hawaii" experts in this area. SO many variables, including freebies, loyalty clubs, conferences in town (and other special events), etc. Sure - we all know that fall is low season - with the exception of Thanksgiving Week. Kind of a sweeping statement about the best weather! Depends on where you want to go. Anyway, the article sounded like commercial hype to fill hotel rooms to me. It just ain't that simple. (And I still vote for May.)
I would take Amberloo's or Scott's evaluation over "The Beat of Hawaii."Edited: 28 February 2014, 23:06
May is creeping up as being expensive and popular. Its all of us who say, "go in May"!!!!
Then y'all GO in May and leave me the end of August into September!!!!
Sometimes I wonder what kind of an effect we have, jebett!
3chi ... if I lived in So CA, I'd go to Hawaii with you. I remember what the air was like that time of year ... and it's so hot!
October seemed best when I was looking. Lots of airfare deals from Chicago and vrbo prices very low. Couldn't 'talk my folks into going then so alas...June...at least it's cheaper than Christmas. LOL.
3chis...you'll have to share the island with my son and friends....
