Differences between these boats and passenger capacity?

I've read what I could find on this forum, yelp and the company websites. Can someone help me understand what type of boat Napali Catamaran sails on and its passenger capacity?

I'm trying to decide between Napali Cat and North Shore Charters, which uses a 27 foot rigid inflatable with a max 14 person capacity.

North Shore Charters appears to be $35 cheaper, is up to 1/2 hour longer of a trip, which is why I'm considering them in addition to the well reviewed Napali Cat.

Info appreciated!!

According to www.napalicatamaran.com their boat is a 34' Powered catamaran, 14 passengers Max. There's also a picture of the boat in the video on the home page.

We took the Na Pali Catamaran boat several years ago. I seem to remember it holding 16 people, but 14 is probably right. There is one row of seating on each side of the boat, so that passengers are basically sitting back to back.

North Shore Charters now does an inflatable rig? I didn't know that. I've done Holo Holo rigid Inflatable and it was wonderful. Its not like a zodiac. I think it holds 17 or 18. We were very comfortable and it was so much fun.

Thanks all. We want to leave out of the north shore. Plan on reserving sometime between May 25 and May 30. Any other comments on either of these two options or others are appreciated.

Going into the caves (weather permitting) is a must do. We are fit and active, and a few bumps won't hurt us.

We typically don't get seasick. Is that what it means to "feed the fishes"? Lol.

thanks again!

We did Napaili Cat last year. It was a blast! We chose it because of the good reviews here.

I have done the power cat and North Shore's rigid hull inflatable. The latter is the best by far. Gary runs a great tour. You get an exciting ride. You can zip in and out of all the caves. If you are lucky enough to get a dolphin escort, the dohins are so close, it is amazing. The power cat was my first trip. The next three were Ana's Charters. That should tell you something.
