Hanapepe Cafe -- A Friday Night Event

We're so happy that one of our favorite restaurants, Hanapepe Cafe, has re-opened on Friday nights after being closed for a couple of years. Chef Helen Lacano is back, along with her daughter and granddaughters, serving her wonderful creations. The cafe is open from 5-9. They don't take reservations and don't sell alcohol, but, as in the past, you can bring your own bottle of wine. On the menu, you'll find vegetarian choices, fish, meat, and the best desserts on the island. Gourmet food for half the price of what you'd pay in some of the better known restaurants.

Some of you may know Helen from the Farmers' Market at Kului'ula Center where she sells her delicious soups on Wednesday afternoon.

Give Hanapepe Cafe a try if you plan on going to Friday Art Night in Hanapepe. It's a nice way to start the evening!
