We plan to scuba dive the first week of April, 2019. Any feedback on what the weather might be like that time of year?
Get a roulette wheel and label everything sunny, cloudy, windy, rainy and see where the marble lands. No way of predicting 11 months out
April is a shoulder month coming out of the winter storm season into the milder weather
Could still get some rain but the likelihood of big storms is diminished
Diving conditions on Maui are pretty consistent there is no real diving season like other places .
tends to be consistent . Some times shore line vis drops if the surf is up
Do you have a dive plan?
Perfect answer from TR! Tr, can we use that for all weather questions?
Cynthia, in all seriousness--the last week of April will be pretty crowded. That's Easter week. So I'd try to come in mid May if you can. The weather has *usually* turned to more consistent spring/summer weather then as well.Edited: 18 May 2018, 20:02
Welcome to Trip Advisor Cynthia!
The first week of April won't be nearly as busy as the end of the month.
Be aware though, that Maui has a lot of micro climates. And while one area may have some rain, ten minutes in either direction may be very different.
