Trick question for locals ???

We have gone on vacation and have gone to Walmart and bought a strret map for $5 and this helps a lot. My son lives in GA and we did this to be able to get around on our own and it works out great. Do you have such a map available?

You can get the best map for free at the airport. The AlexAir Helicopter rack card opens up and on the inside is a fully detailed map if the island, including condos, hotels and other landmarks and enlarged pullouts of Lahaina Town, Waikuku and the Kihei area. Look for the AlexAir rack card with a waterfall on the front. They are in all of the Maui Circulation racks.

Most of the good guide books also include detailed maps; you most likely will stay on main roads, not be lost in neighborhoods, esp. since there are so few main highways on Maui anyway ... relatively small island; hard to get lost.

However if I ever do get lost, I figure it is a "follow the rainbow" sign and so just go with the flow, end up where I end up, and usually there is magic !!!

Sources for good, online maps for Maui:

This is the Maui Revealed website with aerial views of all the major accommodations and links to the websites; have to buy copy of book to access ALL of the site [there is a code word in the back of the book]
