If you had to pick just 5 restaurants...

What would they be? We are staying in Kaanapali but will be visiting all over the island.

Thanks! Leaving in 13 days :)

1) Sansei - I have only been to the one in Kihei but I think there is one in Kapalua as well. - if there are just two of you - get the sampler item - loads of food and great variety.

2) Sea Watch Restaurant at the Wailea Golf Course - view is spectacular - go for brunch or lunch

3) Alexander's Fish & Chips - in Kihei - great deep fried fish!!!

4) Mama's Fish House - Northshore

5) Roy's Kahana - haven't been in a few years

I don't have any recommednations for anything in the Kaanapali area as I found most of the restaurants here and in Lahaina are pretty touristy and not great food for the money - but that's only my opionion.

Kimo's and Leilani's in Whaler's Village. Indoors more formal ... not really FORMAL ... but full menu and it is smart to make reservations in advance.

Leilani's and Hull Grill outside, beachside, has a lighter menu - but excellent!

Handsdown - these are our favorites. We also liek the Terrace at the Sheraton. Moose's in Lahaina for breakfast.
