What are your Maui "rituals"

I saw someone mention a ritual they have of having their first breakfast, on Maui, at the Pioneer Inn. It got me thinking about what rituals we have. Here are some of mine:

We always visit Maui after a few days on other islands, so it's usually a mid-day inter-island flight. We'll drop stuff off at the condo, then drive down to Aloha Mixed Plate for a late lunch/happy-hour meal, followed by a shopping trip to Lahaina Farms.

On our last morning, on Maui, we always have breakfast up at the Plantation House. It's just so peaceful.

Like many, we usually grab a last lunch or dinner at Mama's Fish House, before heading down to the airport.

What are some of your rituals?

Our can't miss ritual is a round of golf on the Kapalua Plantation Course, and we get a Twilight tee time to keep the green fee down a bit. This also allows us to finish just in time to enjoy the ambience and unbeatable views from The Plantation House, while the sun sets over Molokai. Gorgeous!

We always get in late at night coming from MN now, so it is dark and we are tired and we go to our Kapalua villa and go to sleep. We wake up early, watch the sun rise and are awed by the Kapalua views. We spend our first day relaxing, hanging at the beach, and letting Hawaii time soak in and are usually ready for bed early that night. Then we are off! Snorkel, swim, explore, repeat :)

There are a lot but the first thing that came to mind is stopping in my tracks and doing nothing but listening when I hear my favorite bird singing, looking when I spot a whale, turtle, or cool fish, and smelling when the plumeria wafts my way!

Get off the main road from the airport and drive down front street in Lahaina on the way to the resort. Never get tired of it.

Unlike so many others on here, we do very little for outings/excursions. We are snow-bound Canadians so our rituals include very little except laying in our Cabana on Kaanapali Beach and jumping in the ocean every 45 minutes! Also, first dinner outside at Hula Grill, Yogurtland, Honolulu Cookies, the local farmers market and the awesome frozen coffee at Bad A** Coffee...
