Haleakala Sunrise, then which Zipline??

We (40ish adults and teens) are travelling to Maui at the end of the month, and we could use some advice.

We are staying in Kihei, and we are going to drive up to Haleakala for the sunrise one morning, and would like to do some ziplining afterwards. We are newbies to it, but willing to try anything.

What zipline tour would you recommend? What time would you reserve, allowing for a comfortably paced day? What other stops would you recommend along the way?

Thanks for your help!

The Piiholo Ranch Ziplines in the Upcountry would be the closest after doing the Haleakala summit. It's also a great operation with over 9 separate zips, and several price points depending on how many you do.

After your Upcountry adventures you could head up into Iao Valley or spend some time at the Maui Ocean Center in Ma'alaea

This one is actually closer, on the road down from Haleakala. But if you go up for sunrise, you may want to book the one that VC mentions. Otherwise, you would need to drive to the Kula Lodge for breakfast, or somewhere else, and then drive back up to the zipline. It isn't far though. I am remembering all of this from a thread from a couple weeks ago.

I have never ziplined though, as I would need to wear a "depends'!

Found it!

Here's a couple of blogs I did on those very activities you're contemplating.

I hope they assist you.

My wife and I did the Piiholo ziplines in Feb. We are in our early 50's and we really had a lot of fun. The staff was great, very nice and funny. Afterwards we had lunch at Pollis Mexican restaurant in Makawao and then stopped in Paia on the way back to Kihei. A very fun day.

Piholo was great!

Did it in April - then went to Paia and walked around and had lunch at Flatbread Co
