Looking for a villa in a resort with a kitchen

Going to Maui with or 2 teens...like the resort amenities but would love to have a kitchen for easy breakfasts etc.. On the beach would be best!! Thank you!

What time of year are you coming? Look at Westin Resort Villas and Honua Kai. They are both on a big stretch of beach that has great snorkeling as well right out front. Big pools and good reviews.

Maui has a ton of villa resorts at every price range and I've never seen one that didn't have a kitchen. Your price range sort of dictates which properties should be recommended.

Please let us know your budget...if you can afford it, Napili Kai has a great beach and offers a condo-tel experience. Getting one with two bedrooms can be on the high end, but its worth it if you can swing it IMO. Puna II and Puna Point have incredible views where you almost feel like your room is in the water! Honua Kai & Westin Villas are other options to consider.

Honua Kai worked well for our family 2 adults and 1 teen and 1 pre teen. It really has a resort feel but with all the comforts of home. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and is just a few steps to the beach. The condo had a fully equipped kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen saved us from having to eat out all the time! Having the washer and dryer in the unit allowed us to pack a little lighter!

Love Maui Kaanapali Villas on a beautiful part of kaanapali Beach.

If you want walking access to Lahaina town then I would try Lahaina Shores.

We can give you all kinds of suggestions some may or may not be helpful depending on your nightly accommodations budget. Don't want to give you beer if you are looking for champagne, or vise versa!!

We can help more if we know the 'when' and the 'how much'. Do you need a 2BR or can the teens 'camp out' on a sofa bed in a living room? Will you want the buzzier Kaanapali/Lahaina area or the quieter 'ends' of Maui? Do you plan to tour the island -- Haleakala, Road to Hana, Iao Valley -- or will you 'stay put'?

Another vote for MKV. Third stay there coming up next month. Nice views from the 5th floor. Five minute walk to an amazing beach, with Castaways right there as well. Trolley available to Whalers; its all good!

I think your teens would enjoy the Kaanapali area, the Honua Kai, Westin Villas and Maui Kaanapali Villas are all just north of Black Rock in a quieter area of the beach but with easy access to more activities around Whaler's Village.

Here's a little map of the area to get you oriented...Honua Kai is to the far right north of the Westin Villas.
