This day was a little different. But it's all good, right?!
Those photos are beautiful. Well done!
So cool that you have a favorite bird
Ok Susan...now there are 2 things I need to see in Maui and then in Alaska this summer. I will have to ask Deb about them! You are so right that every day is a great day :). So glad you are there enjoying it!
Your whale pictures are phenomenal! Do you have any tips for getting good whale pictures?
What beautiful pics....whales are such majestic and amazing creatures on out earth...thanks so much for sharing. Your pics and other trip reports here get me through this brutal winter...
Another thing Hawaii and Alaska share.....I love the spunk those birds have because I imagine their journey to be far more tiring than the whales migration, but they just keep going. It is inspiring.
I loved your photos. The one with the leaves is very similar to a large print I bought at a garage sale.......Pua Malia. I bought number 22 of 40 for only $40. Love a deal! Thanks for the bring along cause the ride with you is special. Deb
P.S. Now I need to find those birds for Jennifer too! I know at least the moose will be easy.
Great whale pics! Can't wait to see them in person in 3 weeks.
Sounds like another great day to me, almost grownup!! Thanks for posting.
Happy V'Day all!
Thanks SheaG and fishdiva.
D P: Look for those little guys in short grass, looking for bugs. They're so cute when they run.
Jen & Deb: I'll be anxious to hear about whatever you find, large or small.
newenglander6: I keep the camera in sport mode for quick focus and repetitive shots. Mostly it's luck.
Canadasunny53: Glad to oblige. My family keeps me posted on the brutality :)
nks1234: I'll let them know you're coming!
Really enjoyed your photos .. thanks for reposting a larger version! Enjoyed the Kohola & Kolea folk tale :)
