Night Life

I have been to Maui numerous times before with my family but this will be the first time going and being 21 years old. For graduation me and 4 friends will being headed to kaanapali for 9 days. Does anyone have any suggestions of which bars/clubs that are in the Kaanapali/Lahina area. Thanks

If you want to laugh and have a good time, try Warren and Annabelle's.

You have to be 21 to get in and the food and drinks are included in the price. Check out their website...

aloha from maui,

nightlife on maui is pretty low key. especially with hapa's closing last week. if you like sushi, try sansei in kapalua or kihei. friday and saturday (and thurs in kihei) after 10pm is 1/2 price sushi and karaoke. lots of locals plus some tourists (if they stay up that late) plus some drink specials. must be 21 to get in after 10pm. it's a great time and the food is the best.

Hapa's closed? Where can you hear Willie K. now? Aalexander, You can try Moose's in Lahaina and there used to be a bar overlooking Front Street across from the Pioneer Inn, it has had several names but it was great for watching what was happening.

Grumpy old Uncle Willie is busying himself with several projects these days, including one with Raiatea Helm and Mick Fleetwood.

Hapa's and Horhitos's lost their lease as ther management at Lipoa Center is looking to go a bit more upscale. There is talk of Tsunami's or some other equally upgraded nightclub moving in to the space, but it will be a few months while the place is gutted and they build it our. Hapa's, in the meantime, is looking for another location. If all goes as planned, the end result will be two nightspots where there once was one.

But, in the meanwhile, nightlife is still very much alive in Kihei at Boccalino, in Kalama Village (Life's a Beach, Lulu's, Neptune's, Kahale's), and down at Mulligan's.
