Good Inexpensive Place to Stay on Ohau

Hi, We will be on Oahu from Mar/25 to the 29th after doing some island hopping and before flying back home to Toronto. Oahu is the only place where we have not found accommodation yet. Any suggestions? We will have a rental car so parking is an issue.

Thanks to all for the great suggestions that have been posted on the Hawaii forums - tremendous help. Anita

Can you give numbers to "inexpensive"? In general look at the Waikiki Sand Villa, Hotel Ilima, Waikiki Circle, the Royal Grove, Park Shore, Queen Kapiolani and Ala Moana Hotel.

Hi: I've just booked VRBO 347892 a Punaluu area condo. I thought the rate was great and maybe with the washer and dryer in the unit you could fly home and not have to do laundry. The owners are great with questions and very prompt with replies. Good luck from a "fellow Ontarian".

I've stayed at the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. It's a very reasonable hotel in a great location. They also have a free breakfast every morning. We saved a lot of money in food this way.

Hi Neighbour, We always use VRBO for our travel stays but I didn't look at it for Oahu because of the short duration and there's usually a pretty high cleaning fee involved. We are booked on The Big Island, Maui and Kauai with VRBO.

I will check this one out as well. Thanks, Anita

Aloha!

Aston Waikiki Circle is a GREAT economical choice. They just renovated the rooms. The rooms are small, but for about $100 you get a NEW, clean room right across the street from the beach!

Outrigger Luana is a few blocks from the beach, but it is close to a park and restaurants! Plus, their studio and 1 bedroom units come with a kitchen. It is a nice, clean, safe place to stay!

Me ke aloha,
