Walking from Royal Hawaiian to Moana Surfrider

Hello,

My family and I (including my mother) are staying in Waikiki for two nights next month as part of a 2 1/2 week Hawaii trip. My wife, kids in I at the Royal Hawaiian and my mother at the Moana Surfrider. Since we'll probably be walking between the two, does anyone know if there is a walkway connecting the two hotels on the beach side? The beach side looks to be a much shorter distance than a walk along Kalakaua Ave would be. Thank you.

There's not a beach sidewalk, but you can get there by walking on the sand. The Outrigger Waikiki is in the middle of the two hotels.

Walking out to Kalakaua from Royal Hawaiian rooms is no big deal. No problem.

Sand is mega easy, it is like 100 yards if that far.
