I was one of the 4 winners of the Embassy Suites Contest this year. I won $10,000 and I am staying free 7 nights at Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk. We will be staying 3 extra nights somewhere else. I can't decide whether to go to a different part of the island such as the North Shore or Windward Coast, or to Island Hop, or just to stay nearby in Waikiki.
Me and my vacationers love action and activities. I want to have things to do for each day. We love playing in the waves and doing activities.
Right now I have
explore the Royal Hawaiian Center next to our hotel and take hula and ukelele lessons
boogie board and possibly take surfing lessons but we're afraid of sharks
snorkel at Haunama Bay,
horseback riding at Kualua Ranch,
hike to Waimea Falls and swim in the falls,
Na Pali Lookout
Lanakai and Kailua Beaches maybe kayak to the little islands
Beaches on North shore that have the turtles and big rock to jump off of to watch people and maybe visit the town
possible other beaches such as sharkes cove, maybe hike the Phillbox by Lanakai
I'm in my lower 20's and my friend is 15. My parents are coming too. Me and my friend are girls.
Me and my friend love to play in the waves. I like action (I know Waikiki has action)
I just can't decide wheter to rent a little condo place on the windward or north shore, stay at an awesome resort with waterslides in waikiki, stay at a cheaper place in waikiki, or island hop. I have no clue what island it would be or if it would even be worth it. I like volcanoes or any other activity or site we could see but it would cost 300 extra dollars for the plane. I just need some opinions. Thanks!! I am on a budget but I would splurge a little if it was worth it. I really like the looks of the Hilton Hawaiian Village because of the resort and slides but it is already booked and kind of pricey. Waterslides are fun. I don't know if I like resorts or to stay in a rental. I'm not going to use all my $10,000 on the trip!!
