Extreme last minute trip.....which is better??

We have been to Oahu, kids have not (ages 7 and 12).

Stay in Honolulu/Waikiki area or elsewhere on island for 4 day trip? Mainly there for the beaches, but will get the education in too.

Any recommendations for hotel....like to stay under $250 night, don't need fancy resort, just clean and nice.

Thanks....leaving tomorrow!!

Do I understand correctly that you are leaving tomorrow, in the height of tourist season, without firm accommodations?? No fallback arrangements? Nothing?

M-a-y-b-e you can pick up a last minute cancellation room.

If not, you may need to buy a couple of tarps and "liberate" a grocery cart or two!

We've just arrived, its not so busy. We found heaps of rooms available to our choice just last week. Check wotif.com or your favourite bargain website.

Enjoy

Waikiki is never 100% booked. You'll find something in your price range. Have fun!
