I would pick the The Regency on Beach Walk based on location and being a smaller facility.

Thanks! It so hard to decide on hotel with 2 double bed or a 1 bedroom suite. We will be in it for 6 nights..... I've read about the Aston right across from the beach. In the past I have stayed at the moana surf rider and the Sheraton and both were very nice... But with kids everything changes.

These condos are at opposite ends of waikiki.

I have stayed at the beachwalk May 2013 and thought it was great, a revamped unit in a great spot, in my opinion.

The whole beachwalk area is renovated just about, and offers a quiet area with restaurants, shops and beach a stone throws away.

Sunset location is just off kuhio but up near the zoo, kuhio is super busy so you will want a higher floor because of noise and all rooms are not renovated.

Have a look at reviews on tripadvisor and the travellers photos.

Regency on beachwalk doesn't have many rooms, 30 or so I think, you get privleges at the outrigger reef pool area as well.

Waikiki Shore is next door to the outrigger Reef if you book thru Outrigger you can use the pool at the Reef as the WS does not have it's own pool. That's the same thing with the Outrigger Regency it has no pool but you can use the Reef pool.

WS really is the only condo on Waikiki Beach I like the location next to Ft Derussy Park and I would stay there but if you book thru Outrigger you will not know which unit you are getting. You can book thru VRBO and get a certain unit but you won't have pool access.

Waikiki Shore is great, but be sure to go through Outrigger to book it.

Aston Waikiki Sunset is a block or so from the beach.

Outrigger Regency is about 1/2 block to the beach.

If rates are the same, Outrigger Regency would be my choice.
