Oahu Closures

Aloha,

Due to the huge surf, Waimea Bay has been closed. Traffic jams are already happening on the north shore but conditions continue to deteriorate. Some water now washing up on Kamahamaha Hwy.

The Farrington Hwy. going up to Yokohama Bay and Kaena Pt. is closed also.

Huge waves washing over the road in Haleiwa near the boat harbor.

Civil defense has their hands full, please, if you don't have any business up on the north shore, don't go. Same goes for the west side. Police are now towing numerous cars due to parking violations.

The largest waves haven't even made it here yet and won't until 12:00pm.
