American fondouk Fes

This is a veterinary hospital for all the mules and donkeys that work in the medina. It was a really inspiring place to visit and the staff were really compassionate and dedicated, it was a really moving experience.

A must for anyone who cares about animals.

The fondouk is a great place to visit. As I recall it's just down below the McDonald's Restaurant in Fes.

We visited the American Fondouk in November 2012. It was a rewarding experience to see such compassion toward sick donkeys and horses Dr Gigi is amazing. She directs an experienced triage team every morning as the medina animals show up for care. When we were there everything stopped when a very sick donkey arrived in the back of a very old truck. Thank you for graciously allowing us to visit
