How to iron that fabric they sell in the markets in Morocco?

I bought a really pretty fabric in the markets in Morocco a couple years ago. I think the size is like 2 meters by 3 meters? Anyway, I've been afraid to do anything with it, including ironing it. Does anyone know the right setting to use to iron it? It almost looks like shiney silk material so I was thinking of being brave and trying the "silk" setting. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Hi,

Sounds like sabra, the vegetable silk?

It sounds like sabra ("vegetable silk") to me too. Test a corner with a cool iron, no steam.
