Travelling to Morocco in January. Do we need vaccinations, and if so which ones?

Just returned from Morocco. Our doctor advised a polio update, hepatitus A and tetanus booster.

I do a lot of traveling around the world and alwayscheck the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for specific recommended vaccinations. For Morocco, they recommend Hepatitis A and B, pre-exposure rabies, typhoid as well as booster doses for tetanus-diphtheria, measles, and a one-time dose for polio for adults. Sounds worse than it is, but you should check with your local health care provider to get his/her recommendations. I live in Morocco and other than the odd case of rabies from someone getting to close to a wild animal and being bitten, I haven't heard of any of the other problems listed. Hepatitis and tetanus in my mind are always a good idea.

If your current vaccinations are up to date, then you don't need anything else. You've already asked this question on Fodors and got the same, competent responses. If you are so paranoid, stop asking "amateurs" on travel fora for advice and go see a doctor!

Sorry if you found my remark "snitty", Peirgay. I did not mean to imply that you should see a doctor about being paranoid, but rather for an honest, trustworthy appraisal of what vaccinations you would need.
