Is it better to change money in uk or wait until I get to Agadir please.
Have a look in the top questions box on the right for all your money question answers.
In the main you cannot bring your money out, and most foreign exchanges over here do not carry dirhams.
Take sterling with you (please not travellers cheques as they take forever to get changed - if you can find a bank who will do it), and make sure that the notes are not written on. Moroccans hold a lot more by our law that you cannot write on a banknote!!
English note,s rather than other sterling, is preferred, and my suggestion would be to exchange little and often as you need it - you may not spend all that you think.
There are a myriad of ATM in town as well, just notify your bank as some are now looking for this, and while you are on to them then check what they will charge you for using your cards over there both in atm and at merchants.
Also, please get a receipt with at least one lot of exchange - if you do need to change back at the airport they will want to see it.
Your hotel has an exchange desk that is open twice daily, it is in the pool complex, just down from the rooms on the way to the main restaurant.
hope this helps,
