Atlas Trail excursion through Thomson

I am off to Agadir next month for a week and planning to do the Atlas Trail excursion through Thomson - just wondering how challenging the climb is?

Should we pack walking boots or are trainers enough? Only 2 hours of the trip is actually trekking would be nice to get some advice from people who have been on the trip.

Some part of Atlas Mountain are rocky, and if there is a waterfall nearby, they can also be slippery. You will flat walking shoes with gripping sturdy soles.
