Tim, if I may just say, it wasn’t a theory as I was merely trying to answer the original questions and provide some alternative beaches as asked for.

Kate, it is true that “facts are facts” but do you not realise, that is not what the original poster asked for or what the question was? I can totally understand and appreciate the posters frustration as when they asked a question or advice they didn’t appear to get an answer (not even one that they wouldn’t like), they got sarcasm and people’s personal opinions about Morocco and going elsewhere for culture. I may have read it wrong, but that’s not what they asked for? I too noted Essaouira as a possible alternative but that’s what they did ask for but as I’m not an expert on weather or maybe I’m meteorologically challenged, I couldn’t offer any advice as to whether there would be mist there also. If the poster has already booked Agadir as their holiday destination of choice then so be it, I don’t particularly think it’s helpful or necessary for them to get suggestions to go elsewhere. If you feel yourself going insane replying to the same questions well I think it’s ok not to post and thereby keep your sanity.

ZoeAndy, as you have read, there’s no escaping the mist but that doesn’t mean there’s mist everyday and who knows how bad it will be or how long it will last so there’s no need to overly worry about it. Somewhere in the ‘midst’ (lol) of this, there are a few suggestions but hopefully you won’t need them and the sun will shine on you and your holiday :)

Yes, I and I do appreciate that you added the disclaimer that you're not a weather expert. But people read only what they want to read and chances are they would rush off elsewhere to find the grass is just as wet (see what I did there? lol).

In 40 years of travelling to Morocco I've only been to Essaouira four times (it's not somewhere I like) but encountered sea mist twice. I stopped overnight once at Taghazoute and had sea mist.

All I can say on a positive note is that the Moroccan Mediterranean coast with warmer water doesn't have this problem, and it's not at all a problem in the winter months when Agadir is a popular destination for the snowbirds.

Tim, I hear what you're say and I understand that the grass is not always as green or can be as wet on the other side, so let's 'leaf' it at that (see what I did? lol).

As for my so-called 'disclaimer'? I don't need to use one as I tend to try my best to answer the questions asked and don't use TA to highlight my interests, job or talents. If that be the case, I would be here until Christmas and I'm sure I would also bore some people (well ok, maybe a lot of people). :)
