Best Area in Marrakech to stay?

Hello guys, We are coming to Morroco from Croatia and we are looking cheap two beedrom room in Marrakech. We are on budget so we are not high demanding. What area in Marrakech is best to stay in in context of distance to main attractions of the city and that is not dangerous. Noise is acceptable for us:

Nowhere is dangerous. There are many budget hotels and your guidebook should list many. I often stay at Hotel Ali which is on the edge of Djemaa el Fna (main square in the medina) and costs 350 dh/night for a twin bedded room including breakfast. There will be noise from the square until things pack up about 2230-2300.

Yes, Hotel Ali. It's about as convenient as you can get for attractions in the Medina and beyond. A no-frills but well-run hotel with professional staff who will give you friendly, honest advice when asked. And it's got a Bureau de Change that offers the best rates in town. The airport bus stops nearby too, so you'll also save on expensive taxi fares.

There are many nice hotels near the main square and the blik bus stop.

Also many very nice hotels in guliz. Get on that is on the 1 or 6 bus line and you can get to old part fast and cheap.

We stayed at Riad Aloes in the Medina. Absolutely wonderful place and fairly cheap.

Marrakech is ridiculously safe crime wise. Violent crime doesn't seem to exist.

There are annoying scammers, but they are easily ignored and are not threatening.

The only danger is the heat in summer +40C, although if you're from Croatia you will be more used to that than people from England. Traffic is also pretty insane!

Bab Doukala is a good location to reside as it's between the modern Guelis area and jemma el Fynaa. The ryad Mogador hotel is a brilliant budget hotel with a lovely tea room

If you want to be in Guelis try hotel Tachfine

If you want to be near Jemma el Fynaa the Hotel Grand Tazi is a true

Dynamic experience
