Travelling from UK soon.
Am told by friends that you cannot get Moroccan currency at travel shops in UK.
Do I need to check out money change in Marrakech airport?
If so, why is it not easily available in UK.
Plus the 2% ATM usage fee is more then my general bank charges me.
I think I will stick with traditional banks over crypto credit cards.
The exchange rates you get in the UK are a rip-off, as advised take cash (or a card) and get your money exchanged in the airport (not the bureau de change in the luggage hall), there are a few places to change your money in the main terminal.
We got a small amount from eurochange and exchanged more when we got there at a much better rate.
Glad my us bank is still almost 2% better then I get with cash.
You got the wholething wrong about the revolout. You can try better google search :)
Be careful with Revolut cards. They look like a great idea (I used mine for a few years) but when there is a problem you are really on your own and without any of the kind of protection that you would expect from your regular bank.
I have the bad experience of being charged twice for the same transaction in India (even though I had Location Security on and was in Europe) and have had absolutely no help from Revolut to get my money (716 euros) back.
Their help desk is an automated response nightmare which turns you in circles.
Plus with normal travel usage the revolt card changes from a free to use card to a charge for using card, as you go over the limit for free transactions. And gets expensive.
I have a Monzo account and would highly recommend it for travel. I've gained/saved literally hundreds £s since I start using it abroad. The rate is much better
